Synchronization

Score Keeper 6 uses synchronization to keep multiple computers data in sync. This has many benefits over other systems. The main advantage is that the application does not need to be able to connect with a server to operate. All operatations are local and stored in a local database. Synchronization allows you to get data to and from a host computer.

Sync Settings

Sync Settings Image
  1. Remote Host URL text box: This text box shows the connection information for the host computer. You can get this URL from the host computer.

  3. Cancel button: This button will close the form without saving any changes.
  4. OK button: This button will close the form and save any changes.

Synchronization Hosting

Turning on synchronization hosting allows other computers to send data to and retrieve data from the computer that is hosting. There are some settings that you may need to change on your computer to turn on hosting and you may need to adjust your firewall settings. See hosting settings for details.

There are several tools/options that can be set and used by the user. These are things that are not controlled by the admin but by the individual.
